This estate consists of 102 hectares of which 8 hectares are planted to vineyards. The vineyards are on the southern slopes of Montalcino where some of the most prestigous Brunello comes from. Giussepe Sesti etablished the vineyards In 1991 after purchasing the estate, including the then ruin of the Castello Di Argiano, an ancient fortification. In a short space of time Sesti has establlished a formidable reputation for their wines.
