Wine Spectator

Po de Poeira 2006
Offers red plum and berry flavors, with plenty of chewy tannins and smoke notes. Olive and savory herb dominate the finish. Drink now. 3,000 cases made. –KM - 86 points (02/10)

Poeira 2007
A powerful red, with a strong mineral band cutting through the dark plum and blackberry flavors. There's plenty of elegance as well, with fresh acidity and a rich, chewy finish of dark chocolate and mint. Drink now through 2017. –KM 94 points (04/10)

Poeira 2008
Very focused, pure and minerally, with good cut to the red plum, shiso leaf and red cherry flavors. Suave midpalate, with mincemeat notes, followed by a long, spicy, dark chocolate-filled finish. Best from 2013 through 2018. 100 cases imported. –KM - 91 points (04/11)

Purple Pages by Jancis Robinson

Pó de Poeira 2008
Fragrant violet tones, jammy fruit, ripe and supple in the mouth with a slight redcurrant bitterness giving definition on the finish. Long, high tannin finish but very lively and juicy fruit character. Richard Hemming - 17 pts (09/10)

Poeira 2007
Dense dark purple and seductive scent. Very sweet start and round in texture. Purple fruit and very fine texture. Neat - alcohol well controlled. Not the big stereotype - sophisticated! - Jancis Robinson - 17.5 pts (08/09)

Poeira 2008
Fragrant with cherry and violets on the nose but not overly floral as there’s also a savoury overlay. On the palate, the texture is dense but not heavy, with a dark, coal-like dryness that both contrasts with and complements the fruit on the nose. Mouthwatering freshness; young but already elegant. - Julia Harding MV (06/11)
