Established as a negociant in the nineteenth century, Monmousseau pioneered sparkling wine in the Loire Valley in the early twentieth century. They were purchased by Taittinger in the early 1970’s and are now owned by the quality orientated Luxembourg wine producer Bernard Massard. Monmousseau sources top quality Chenin Blanc fruit for their Touraine Cuvée JM, Vouvray and the popular Brut Étoile.
