Hervé Dubourdieu is a quiet achiever producing two excellent wines from his Bordeaux estates. Château Roumieu Lacoste Sauternes is a stylish and elegant Barsac which occupies a privileged position at the heart of this appellation within an appellation. The clay and limestone soils of Barsac stamp their mark on the wines of this area and help distinguish them from other ‘Sauternes’.
