This family estate was founded in 1890 by the grand-father of the current owner Marco Bergaglio. The esate spcialises in Gavi which is made exclusively from the Cortese grape. Originally the wine was sold in bulk to local cutomers. Bottling commenced under Marco’s father. Today the focus is on making sure that Gavi from Begaglio is a distinctive wine, representative of its origins.
